Rod’s first documentary was ‘Clive of India’ for the BBC in 1982. Since then he has written dozens; on time, to budget and with a unique orchestral style and breadth.

 
The Bigamists - Sky One
Explores the act of ultimate betrayal. There are around 2 cases of bigamy every week in Britain. This 90 minute documentary special was produced by Granada TV for Sky One. Rod in conjunction with Graphic Designer Julie Innes, produced a witty and sly parody of a well-known Channel 4 TV hit.

The Best Job in the World - BBC One
The Best Job in the World has been a global phenomenon. The marketing campaign for an Australian state asked for potential caretakers for a beautiful barrier reef island. The job involves living in a luxury villa and getting 70 thousand pound for six months' work. This documentary follows the story through the eyes of the four British candidates who made it through to the final 50.

Trapped By My Twin - Channel 4
Part of Channel 4’s ‘Cutting Edge’ series, Trapped By My Twin followed identical twins Angelique and Liesbeth Raeven. Both anorexia sufferers, they divided everything they ate into equal parts, down to the smallest potato crisp.
